Hey guys,

Another one bites the dust! I have officially left Oceania and UO. So heres a little shout out to all my friends and to KOV. I just want to wish all my friends and KOV the best. You have made my UO experience the best. I will truly miss you all, in the grand pixels that you are.

To the enemies- It has been fun and I have loved the dramas that have unfold. Continue to create havoc so KOV can kick your a$$ if they haven't already

To Oceania - you have been kind - well some of you May you have a few more breaths of life - that will bring you into a great future.

So from Squall - it's sooo long

Yeh I reckon its almost a certainty that when UO dies (or maybe before, who knows) they will start work on/release a new UO2 (not the old, unreleased one, its too, well old hehe).

Say what you will about EA but they do have a good track record of maintaining series that go well for them (see such titles as, C&amp;C, The Sims, etc...).

It could be argued that UO is indeed the most successful MMO of all time, all things considered, and not just subscription numbers. I would be one who would agree with this argument

Numbers do not make a great MMO (yep, I have played WoW, it is [censored])... but I shouldn't have to tell anyone here that

Numbers mean nothing, you're right.

WoW is a good game, but not a new, innovative, award winning epic game. It'll never reach the Interactive Entertainment Halls of Fame for ANYTHING BUT its subscription numbers.

StarCraft is still selling like crazy and played like crazy today. yet games like the Total War Series and Supreme Commander have showed us how primitive it's model is.
