So how do I get this Evil Omen thing off my buff bar?

No, not really enough said.

I will assume, however, that you mean the bug wherein a de-buff has been removed or has worn off but the icon sticks?

One work-around is: Have the same de-buff cast on you again, then either get rid of it or wait for it to time out like normal.

evil omen yourself and then fireball yourself - that's what I do and it works every time

if you don't have necro on that character, then get one of your characters on your other account who has necro to do it
