So...how do I deposit gold into the wall safe, again?

I have 37 million across my account and 8 million the character that I had trying to deposit gold into the safe. I kept getting the message "The amount entered is invalid. Verify that there are sufficient funds to complete this transaction."

Is there a minimum that must be deposited? Is there a 'trick' to let me actually put gold in the wall safe that I don't know about?

Ok.

1. Go to bank -> click banker for menu -> pick 'open bankbox'.

Now you've got 6 options. Ignore the first 4 and click 'Deposit gold into secure account' -> type 8000000 + Enter

2. Go home -> click wall safe -> click 'Deposit' -> type 8000000 + Enter

That's it.

Great Video and it helped me understand this new system better. The only question I have is why complicate it all with a wall safe? Do we really need them now?

Wall safes are good for giving someone gold if you're not online, holding guild/alliance funds or even auction payouts. You can have several safes all set with different securities.

They are very handy.

Great Video and it helped me understand this new system better. The only question I have is why complicate it all with a wall safe? Do we really need them now?

For guild and such they might be handy. For me switching gold between accounts I find it much easier to just log in 2 accounts at the same time. Since you can't have checks to leave in a secure chest for someone who's offline anymore I guess they felt the need to do something.
