Snow in Enhanced Client...

Just wanted to give Supreem a bit of kudos for the snow work done in the EC. After having had two other clients ignored when it came to snow (well to be fair, apparently, snow in the old 3d client turned the world into lava-death-land, no clue as to the supposed issues with KR though).

It looks great in the EC (and doesn't have the blinding light shimmer static snowy areas tend to have) and really adds a lot of atmosphere.

So while I still have my graphical gripes about the EC (generally in the opposite direction of most), the snow is very well done this year.

Only thing I think needs to be considered is that it probably shouldn't be snowy in jungle and southern-based areas. I notice it hasn't taken over the deserts which is fine, but I believe the jungles don't need to be snow covered.

Other than that, great work, and I saw where Supreem mentioned wanting to get in seasons... and I'm ALL for that idea. It just adds a lot of flavor to the game IMO.

Thanks devs!

I second the kudos on the snow in EC. I never liked it in 2D because, as Dermott said, it was blinding - but it's lovely in the enhanced client.

I don't mind the snow in the jungle - one of my houses is in the jungle, and I use the roof as my annual holiday display, and finally! A white Christmas! :mf_prop:
