Nvm since I can read a little bit of Japanese... here's a little piece of the info with the items
Japanese shards get 4 new items from UOGamecodes.
1. Earring for vendor. 5% discount on vendor fee for 90 days.
2. Earring for vendor. 10% discount on vendor fee for 40 days.
3. Smuggler's edge that increase stealing chance.
4. Undertaker's staff. With limited charges that teleports your corpse to you for a safe corpse recovery.
I think that's about it. All 4 of them are about $5

I dont agree with selling them either with no way of aquiring them in game via quests or something.
If it was just deco then I'd prob not pancake too much but these items have useful properties.

I AM SO MAD. i thought these items would be obtainable through quest means in the game, but now i find we have to pay for them? and on top of that, they aren't even available in america???

The undertaker..... rocks!!!! Testing it out, killed myself, paced off 40 steps away from my body (two or three screens away), self res'd, dbl click the staff and my body appeared at my feet WOW!
Are the lanterns and that gray thing deco only or do they serve a purpose?

I did a good bit of testing with these items.
The undertaker staff works through walls and over rocks. The only limitation seems to be distance and server lines. Oh, and it's only got 100 charges.
The smuggler's edge is dependent on your stealing and snooping skills (i.e. it's not an increased chance). But it's completely passive. Just swing and every successful hit gives you a chance to snoop and steal a random item from a pack (monster's only).
The earings work as advertised.

I put one on my Mele toon and he is stealing items with 0 stealing/snooping skill. Mostly gold which is a little disappointing.
They damn well need to ****ing stop giving just them new stuff like this. And don't give me that crap about us getting more than them... patches and publishes work for the entire globe, and they already have much better event and volunteer staff support than we do.
To hell with Asian customs and nicities... its an American game and its about damn time they learn to deal with that fact.

Of course, the minimal chance is there, but that's probably the reason you're only getting gold. It has the same limitations of the stealing skill i.e. you aren't gonna be stealing logs or full chests, etc.
Also, I should note that you will actually gain skill if you have skill pts available and set either skill to raise.
I didn't have time to test to see if it successfully stole special potions or balms or other rare stealables.
Lanterns are SC, deco only.Are the lanterns and that gray thing deco only or do they serve a purpose?

The smuggler's tools gives lockpicks every time you use and it recharges like the Cornucopias.
They are both new rare stealables you can receive when you use the Smuggler's Edge.

If someone wants to pay rl money for an item that lets them find their corpse 100x then they're an idiot. We've been doing it for years for free.
If free lockpicks are a cause for outrage, go down to the Cavern of Discarded, everytime someone GM's Tinkering they throw 10k+ lockpicks in the bin they cost 1 ingot ffs.

& some earrings that reduce vendor prices from a few gp to fewer gp... theres probably a way to exploit that... but for the time it takes it isn't worth it.

Well, during the Thanksgiving event, a turkey killed me and my body became inaccessible as it was in a blocked part of some terrain. I had a bunch of maps and fragments on me at the time and lost them as I sat helplessly and watched my body decay. That staff sure would have saved me a goodly amount of time.
Similarly, if you want to loot your corpse that just happens to be in the middle of a huge spawn, or a few monsters casting area effect spells, it'd be nice to stand a few screens and call your body to you.
I wouldn't consider myself an idiot for wanting a way to get a hold of my corpse when it would otherwise be impossible or inconvenient.
As for the smuggler's edge, I can see this being a great boon to thieves in that 50-80 skill range where it might be difficult to make sizable gains, manually.
I don't have a vendor, so I can't speak to the usefulness of the earrings. However, in general, these items seem to fill a particular need for a good number of players. There's no reason to put others down, just because you lack imagination or scope.
Im not too upset with not getting the items... If they were able to gotten from a quest I might be alittle more mad but I dont wanna have to pay real cash for items. If they are hard up for cash then they should make the game fun and get new players not take more money from the loyal ones that stick around. I do think its dumb to get so mad over a staff that when its charges are gone just become deco or ear rings that lower prices and make people in luna over charge even more than now so they dont lose money. I do understand people aren't getting mad just over the items.. It's the fact of one side getting something and the other side doesn't. I guess we can just keep yelling and hope EA sees the light but I doubt they will.

Maybe we didn't get those items yet because our dev team are the ones who actually are busy breaking and fixing our game all the time. 
If you think about it the Japanese teams have a lot more time to devote to this kind of stuff.
Besides, with the track record for the uogamecodes site, I am really more jealous that the Japanese have a much better site to purchase from than we do.

Yeah it would be nice to do that, it'd also be nice to have a staff that killed all the spawn and lit up a path straight there, but it isn't remotely necessary, and certainly doesn't warrant all the crying in this thread.
I'm not saying you're an idiot for wanting to get your corpse, but for thinking you need to buy an item to do it, if somewhere is too hard for you to go then don't go there.

I didn't realise the earrings meant player vendors, thought it meant npcs, yeah that could be a good amount of savings for people with heavily stocked vendors.

All of this rage over items that shouldn't even exist. A staff that brings your corpse to you? Pretty soon we will be able to dungeon crawl from our houses. I mean heck, running out to retrieve the potions/apples/etc from our body was the only "risk" left in this game.
Unless insurance is taken out of this game completely, this staff has no place in our game. Besides, with imbuing now possible to get to Legendary within 10 hours, it's not exactly hard to replace lost items or full suits.
Of course, that is just my opinion.

Most credit cards are internationally accepted. If not then I KNOW paypal is internationally accepted because I've personally payed for ebay items from Japan, Austrailia, UK, and Germany to name a few places I've bought things from. I've never had any trouble with paypal at all!
