Smoke Bombs

I asked this question under the "chef" section but no one has responded so perhaps a ninja would be better to ask.

Are smoke bombs and egg bombs the same thing?

Yes they have the same effect. Just have different names. Egg bombs are made by chefs and smoke bombs by alchemists i believe.
