Skill vs. Wood

I have a question and hoping someone is able to answer it.

I have tried to find the information and my brain must be napping again.

Does anyone know the MOST LJ you can have withOUT getting colored wood?

I am trying to make a mule to get just normal wood with no chance of getting any colored (for arrows and bolts... they don't stack when made with other woods). I knew a few years ago but have forgotten.

I believe you start harvesting oak at 65. If you keep your skill below that, you should be ok.
