As scheduled, Skara had it's Town Meeting last night. The following points were discussed:
- Current Leather Gathering Event ends tomorrow 2/25. The prize will be an imbued weapon of the winners choice. Next month the contest will be changed to allow for turn in of ALL LEATHER TYPES. The Prize will be changed as well to a fully crafted/imbued/reforged suit.
- Tavern Night on 3/3 at 8pm at the Shattered Skull.
- Archery Tournament on 3/24 at 8pm. The rules will go back to gm made bows for the contest. As well as use of no Talisman's. It will once again be based on skill alone.
Once events were discussed, we moved on to to items to bring before the King.
As previously mentioned, we've asked the king to fix the following:
- The stools at the Shattered skull as they are broken.
- We've asked for a Bartender to be hired at the Community Center as well as the dartboards be repaired.
- We are going to ask about Ferry changes to allow for use in Trade runs.
- We will ask for removal of Holiday Deco at the bank.
- We will ask for removal of the body of the ranger just outside of town.
Next, the Trade was discussed. This was not so much a discussion as it was informative. Skara's Trade Deal will *remain* Guild of Arcane Arts while I am in Office.
Finally, news was relayed of the Kraken issue that Skara has been facing. In an attempt to clear out the waters, those in attendance took to ships and nearly 30 nets were tossed in. It is our hope this helps to fix the problem. However, the Rangers of Spiritwood have been instructed to look into the reasoning behind the situation. A close eye will be kept of the waters.
