first off i DO NOT appreciate my thoughts being censored by someone with their finger on the button simply because they don't like what i have to say. i have a voice in this community, and i REFUSE to be silenced.
so i will continue.
i've got multiple issues here with this redesign of this bank.
1.] there is not one single building in the entirety of the city of Britain that even remotely resembles the eye sore that has become WBB. the pleasant continuity we expect to see throughout the city is fractured.
2.] there is way, way too much green crap on the roof. it's kinda blinding. look, there's nothing wrong with greening up buildings all across UO. i sincerely support that. but just obssessively splashing the whole roof of the building is simply tasteless. WBB Atlantic is to be revered, not clowned. what ever happened to the idea of additional structures with functionality in mind?
3.] an additional moongate right next to WBB is a great idea. however, the installation isnt truly functional with respect to getting people to return to it, sell their wares, and just generally hang out. if the team who implemented this idea thought this through, it would become obvious that the best course of action would have been [and still is] to either remove the old Trammel Britain moongate location from its current unuseful location, and to enable the new moongate located next to the bank to be the primary destination for the Briatin selection on the moongate gump. as it currently is, it is exit-only. and until this change is made, we will contuinue to see 20, 30, 40, and sometimes 50+ players standing idle or spamming over the top of one another in a 20x30? [approx] tile-wide rectangle. consider.
4.] with the waterfall, logs blocking the teleporter, and other space impediments, the functionality of the entire WBB rooftop is ruined. its actually a pain to move around. at the very least, a small 2-tile-wide bridge should be placed where the difficult to move on log is.
5.] WBB is the largest and oldest city in all of UO. so we expect architecture, not greenhouse overkill.
this eyesore needs to be gutted and re-implemented. we need a bank that we can be proud of, not something that other shards mock and laugh at. plain and simple.
so i will continue.
