Sims or (Avatars) per account?

I have honestly ask this and have recieved different answers .. which is it , 8 meeps a paid account, or 8 total .. I know the answers somewhere, please, someone tell me before this gets moved or locked, as Im sure it will

Each paid account has the ability to create 8 sims,meeps,avatars, or peoplethingies in EAland.
