(Question) Silver Serpent Skins??

Dose anybody go to The Tomb of Kings for silver serpents? I finally found that place and was in there killing for hours. I must have killed over a hundred silver serpents and even more of those pesky gargoyle shades and stuff and only ended up getting 8 silver serpent skins. Does anybody know if this is normal or is there a trick to it?

It sounds like a horrible drop rate but the RNG is horrible so you never know what you are gonna get. I could not find a drop percentage on the serpent skins so my only advice is keep trying. The next time you might get 8 in one hour with the RNG lol.

I usually find I get most skins when I've gone there for something else The drop rate is low, and often made worse by the RNG being uncooperative. Our hunter's guide entry lists the skins as coming from snakes in Tomb of Kings or the Abyss - I've not tried hunting around Medusa's lair.
