In the Abyss the Silver Sapling tree gives a silver sapling seed. Seem that they give it one time every 24 hours.

Last I used one, I could only plant it in the underworld, it may include the abyss too I am not sure.

I had to plant it in the area of the Sapling itself.

The exact details on a lot of systems haven't been nailed down, they are still changing. I couldn't plant anywhere but the silver tree myself today.
