Can anyone tell me where to get these? I thought brides. But all the ones I've seen have been wearing shoes and if you kill them they leave no corpse. Any ideas? Thanks!

We used to get them off the brides long time ago, this was before the birth of the BOD rewards, might be able to hook you up with a pair that is laying around in our crafter box from an IDOC a few years back. ICQ is in the profile and yes its on Sonoma

It's a bod reward, you can pick them up for 25k in Luna on a popular shard where 1/2 the population scripts bods.

this is all pre-bods. silver sandals came from brides. the only other sandals you could get at the time were black (killing weavers?), shades of brown (healer) and various shades of dark green/evil mage blue.. all were normal looking earthy tones.

Can't, I tried earlier. But I bet you can slime a pair made from horned, barbed, or spined leather. (Good idea, btw!)

Yup, weavers had the true black sandies. I used to have tons of different colors...

NO. Because apparently it's some horrible game breaking thing to be able to dye sandals made of special leather or from npc's.

Edit: I just dyed spined sandals light olive green. Wasn't expecting it to work.

Silver Sandals can no longer be gotten by killing Brides - i tried, their bodies just vanish. Although dont be thinking 'Ooh rares' - simply start a new NECROMANCER char, and it starts with silver sandies as standard uniform.
