To check the file size, height and width of your signature image, just RIGHT click on the image and go to PROPERTIES. Please make sure they fall within the guidelines below from the Stratics Rules of Conduct.

M. We ask that you keep images in your signature relatively small. By this we mean both in over image size (width and height) and also in file size. The larger the image dimensions and size the longer it takes for pages to load in our forums. Please note the following rule regarding signature sizes:

- Maximum size of image file(s): 50k
- Maximum height of image(s): 125 pixels
- Maximum width of image(s): 600 pixels

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are instructions on adding the signature in your control panel so it will show automatically each time you post:

First you’ll need to place your image online to your personal web page or any image hosting site that you choose. Lots of people use Photobucket because it’s free and reliable. After you have it online, copy the url of your signature image and proceed to these steps:

1. Log in and go to your Control Panel

2. Click Edit on the Personal information, email, password, etc. line

3. On the 7th line, you'll find a Signature box. In this box, input the url of your signature file. Note that you can use UBBCode in this box, to center, add text, change text colors, etc.

The most commonly used UBBCodes for signatures are to convert the URL to an image and center it. To do this:

[cen ter] [image] YOUR IMAGE URL GOES HERE [/image] [/cen ter]

[/ QUOTE ] Note: remove the 2 spaces I have added to the CENTER codes!

4. Once you've done the above, hit the Submit button to save the changes.

After completing these steps, you may “try out” your signature by making a post in the **TEST SIGNATURES & AVATARS HERE!!** thread.

If you are still having trouble, there are many kind people on this forum who can help if you just ask.

Thank you!
