you can dye furniture tubs and cloth tubs sigil purple with the regular dyes you buy from NPC tailors. don't let the people that sell "rare sigil cloth!" fool you, you can dye it yourself for free.

i always click the button one up from what you click. probably doesn't matter. i click the 2nd button in from the left, top row, & move brightness slider all the way to the right like you have it.

Yep, when you hold a sigil, your entire avatar temporarily turns the sigil purple color until you drop it.
