Siege's 2017 Artisan Festival

Hello all,

I was not playing last year during the festival. It has started in Yew, and if I read the UO page correctly, ALL toons that turn in a BOD (any size) will get a reward if the tree hits max level in the time allotted.

Is that understanding correct? And did Siege get the max stage for each town's tree last year?

Might be good to keep a running post of the town and tree stage here. How long do you have to pick up rewards?

Current town is Yew, current level is stage 1 (Charlie Brown tree).

We only maxed out 2 or 3 trees last year, if I remember correctly. I know the one active during Christmas was full. But they have lowered the requirements this year, so we may be able to get a few more.

Just checked Yew, the tree is at second to last stage (full size now, just needs decorations).

We may not put shard wide effort into a tree again until the Christmas one, but it makes me happy we started the event off with success!

For the other trees, I would like to suggest that as many different characters as possible turn in even a small bod. This way the lotto will pass out a greater number of total gifts for the shard to trade among ourselves. There will be a steward at the UWSP Marketplace and also one at my little Zento hub passing out filled small bods. Code word is bod - be sure to grab one for this tree and all the others!

Same types (sculpture, painting, pillow, lantern) but new styles. They have not said if it will include ones from last year or only new ones. We find out tomorrow

I think you missed this tree. I believe you have to drop bod before gift handout day. Which is a 24 hr period respectfully from when ya bloom it to full tree. Before then drop filled bod on elf. Please correct me if I am wrong people. Ty

I tought me too was in that way but some hours ago you could still drop bod to the elf... Probably till the bag will appear you have time to drop the bod. (i didn't check if there is already the bag near the tree)

You must go to Yew where there is the tree (it's near the portal for the city of elves)... Then drop the bod to the elf near the tree and when near the tree will appear a big bag (probably in next hours) if you'll click on the bag you get your reward

D click the Santa's bag in front of elf. but to be on the safe side kill someone too!

If there isn't a bag near the elf and tree that means you have to wait still some hours to get rewards... Only when the bag will appear you can collect the reward ... Ah and anyway kill also for me that elf !... Too many large to finish the tree !!!

All I can tell you, is that trying to get everyone to coordinate last year was like pulling teeth!. If I find the time, I may fill a bunch of small bods and maybe we can fill a steward at the Zento house for us and others to turn in each cycle. I'm glad they lowered the requirements, because I am still burned out from the bod grind last year!

Thanks for all those who dropped BODs. I do not have a collection of BODs, but I dropped a small BOD from each toon this year and I got a gift on each, which is only b/c all you LBOD folks did the heavy lifting. I appreciate it! I believe Tanager just said in chat that tomorrow start's the next town, Vesper, and it is funded.

I have a ton of unfilled BODs for skills that I don't have... can I toss those into UWSP mailbox or something? I have been doing tailoring and tinkering S & LBODs... the grind is real.

Well if you don't need them we take it so we can help more with tree ... I try to keep always empty the mailbox in our market square so if you want you can drop bods (better in bod books) in it

Thanks to the community of Siege, so far each city has achieved a very respectable Festival Tree! Skara Brae is up next, but is struggling to maintain the trade deal. Today and tomorrow, if folks would like run Skara Trade deals to get the treasury to 3m, we can be sure the city will have a tree as well!

On Sunday, UWSP will be making a mass drive at random points in the day. Join us or hunt us, whichever you prefer!

Citizens of Siege! I took a brief hiatus from governing Moonglow, and in my absence, not a whole lot happened. However, I am about to be re-elected, and I see that the coffers are running low, as they so often do. Therefore, as my first act of re-governating, I shall make up the difference in cost to renew a trade deal so that Moonglow may host the Artisan Festival. Of course, any and all contributions in the form of trade deals completed or cold hard simple cash will be greatly appreciated. I believe some industrious souls are already out there earning their keep, so join them, and be merry!

I believe you just need at least a million on the stone. I don't think having/not having a trade deal affects it.
