So for a while in 2011 I came back and ended up stopping again not long after due to RL preventing some gaming for nearly a year.

I've returned again and siege actually seems more active these days.

Anyways, I've got over my anti-magery stance but still adamant on remaining necro. It's rough finding builds/gear to keep up with the content- it seems its all balanced around fully insured maximum imbued suits that quite simply don't seem to exist on siege. Not sure how this will pan out - I know the sampire build is quite likely no feasi me on siege, perhaps people just group more often.

That said, I'm looking for some other players to band up with. I'm red from a long time ago but not a pk. I ripped factions and I'm looking for a good group to run with- be it roleplay, pvp, or Pve.

Currently switching and training some skills up but totally effective I guess. Being naked and not usin armor makes things harder lol.

This is just a shout out. Missed the game a whole lot!!

Also have a hero dyed shroud I'm trying to pawn.

Have a rune book from age of shadows that has HTML code, only viewable in classic client. Maybe selling that, check it out on my steps one radar northeast of Moonglow gate on the road if interested!!

I only showed in classic client; Famine has it now for the museum.

There was a small window of time after AoS back in 2005 that the devs enabled HTML code items that we could name such as jewelry, house signs, and rune books. It was only enabled for a small time, like a month at most if I recall correctly. It was removed due to abuse of course, but it allowed one to change text to italics or hold, the color o the font and the background color.

The book I had showed a black background tooltip with red writing.
The name of the book was "Book of Shadow" in italics with "[artifact rarity:13]" under it.

Was pretty neat but doesn't show up in EC and unlike other rares it was only the tooltip that was special, making the item of limited value for display. It was still cool to contribute to the museum though.

Hahah! Not really. I'm not even really a player killer- more an old school rper that went red so anyone could attack as a character driven decision. I don't mind the aggression cause I can pvp back.

Not really into going after other players in a competitive way; I much prefer cooperative play and groups tackling things that shouldn't be possible solo- that doesn't exclude pvp itself though.

WOW! i just noticed your post...you seem to hold alot of hostility. soory you feel that way. i have never claimed to be a pvper and i do not use pets(at least at this moment). all i want to do is play and have fun. you obviously take this game waaaayy to seriously. my best guess is that you are compensating for something you are lacking in real life. no matter of what you may think, FSP does have a great group of guys. yes they may be alittle hot headed and have a prior reputation, but they took me in, not Arr. they know what i bring to the table, even if its not up to "your" pvp standard. you missed out on a great recruit. so dont lump me into your negative perspective of who i choose to be guilded with. you "NEVER" see me talkn trash in chat or bashing other players about anything even if i do not agree with their views or tactics. your whole post makes you sound like you have insecutity issuss. while i can agree that your guild has some fine pvpers you should enjoy the sucess of the fact that ARR is zergn it(wether you admit it or not) atm as well. why we as PVP community continually to bash eachother is beyond me. maybe we should just not log in at all or just do crafting and then Arr can just run over the shard with noone else to fight and accept your horrid behavior because you are a PVper and noone can stand up to you. sounds like you fear opposition and just want to beat it down before it can rise up and overcome.....you should be! whatever the reason i asked him to PM me is none of your concern...so please stop trolling my threads looking for a board war.

The whole "all kill" lifestyle is fine for people that wish to do this, I just interperted Saul's wishes to be that of a person that did not wanna hide and kill from behind a pet. Your guilds' name was "FYOU" up until a little whiole ago when it was changed to the "Yew Defenders", that alone should have told you who you were getting in bed with. I am not or never will be "hostile" towars you, I am just merely pointing out the obvious, so Saul does not end up like you. Fighting us with an obvious numbers advantage, losing badly, and then coming to these forums and mashing your sour grapes by calling us a "zerg" So before you get all pensive, I invite you to look at the history of your guild, and I also would ask you to look back on the raid, you sir were involved in, at that champ spawn, where Arrr clearly outnumbered, defeated your zerg.

Now as far as compensating for things irl? PM me and we can meet in real life and discuss it, I am not a shy person.

I think the most we had on at once was 8 people and we didn't even PvP, we did a Harrower. I know FYOU has fielded a good bit of people too at times. We do not just recruit everybody and there mother. If we did that, then yes it would be considered a "Zerg" and I would not be guilded with Arrr anymore.

See this is right on the border of healthy competition, which is really great for the shard. I actually encourage you guys to keep the rivalry going, but maybe be a lil more civil. I know it can be tough, but y'all may find it more rewarding in the end.

I'm glad to be back. I'm seriously behind the curve gear-wise and will be spending a little time trying to build a foundation to have some longevity in my play.

Just looking for that uo community and feeling I've missed for so long. Pvp brings out the best skilled, and competition is heavy while tensions are high. I encourage everyone to remember we have a smaller pop, and while its unreasonable to expect people to best friends due to conflicting views, it isn't out of the question to respect each other from a distance and back your words with action.

I have few enemies, lots of friends, and plenty who enjoy a good fight without the attachments of ego to ourselves.

Maybe what we need is a fighting dojo of sorts here.

you are correct rumpy....zerg was probally the incorrect term. just what i see or think i see. maybe you have less members than i though(10-12 active). i can say if you have 12 that is about twice as many as we have. most i ever seen in our vent was 6. most of the time we field 4, including me, who is no type of real pvper so i never count myself as one. is that you fault...no. i dont know how many people you got running multiple accounts(if any), i assume i see more people in general chat that may or may not be in your guild. that is also none of my business. i was just calling it how i seen it in the heat of typing the post to riz. my guild rubbing off on me had nothing to do with it. arrr a zerg guild....your right, probally not. my bad
look bottom line...i respect you rumpy. i also respect a select few in your guild. i have not met or dont know all. i also know that trash talk has always been part of it...always will be. but i got to tell you i am unhappy with the way both guilds have been acting. its childish. who am i to talk...im nobody. i am just hear for the ride. i really enjoy siege because of the community atmosphere. yes we have some disfunction family dynamics but thats ok.
i would like to think siege is the best of the best. maybe not because of pvp quality, or because of no rampid duping items, or even change of pace...but because of overall "player quality". am i so nieve to think that we can be enimies on the field but still get along? or at least be civil about who killed who? i would certainly would hope not. i have no misconceptions i will die, loose my stuff, and have to start over. i am ok with that. all i am saying is that i am not so proud of siege as i was even 4 months ago. we will have a big influx of people here soon...i just dont want them to see extensive trash talk and say to them selves,"this is no different thatn prodo". we are all better than that. if you want respect show some. and i say that generaly speaking.
truth be told this is just a game...i just want to play, have fun and make some friends along the way. i guess if all i have to worry is so and so killed me, they are gonna talk trash, i got to build a new suit out of pixels so i can get back into the fight after i get out of stat.....then i am doing ok

ahhh....your right riza about the dogs. you are as good as the company you keep...i suspose so. first off when i was recruited i had no idea who they were to be honest. i didnt really care. they asked me to do some spawns so i tagged along. i joined. it is what it is. i am a passionate and decicated person so i am not just gonna jump ship. i march to the beat of my own drum. if i become unhappy where i am at...i will move on. but as i said, despite how you or anyone else feels about members in my guild, they are a good group of guys.
as far as saul goes...maybe...just maybe it had to do with my intrest of rares. you were and are totally out of line for bashing me. you dont know me from jack, just as i dont know you. but DO NOT attack my character. the only thing more important in life other than family is ones reputation. i like to think i am a stand up dude. i have never....ever...ripped anyone off! my word is bond. so dont come off telln me you dont want "saul to end up like you". i take serious offence to that. anyone who does or has done business with me knows better and can attest to that.

You joined a guild founded and run by diablo, sure he hasnt been around that much lately but hes still be around.
Bo left that last sentence in because that is what he has told tons of people right before he'd screw them over.

The most we have ever had on was 8 at a time doing a harrower. In a PvP fight, we never have had more then 6. We have some people in are guild who do not PvP, but they try. We also have some people in our guild who strictly craft or join in for PvM, not PvP.

Its all good regardless. We have been outnumbered for a while now and it seems we finally got the upper hand. I also like to count pets as a +1 to the person population. Its easy to say all kill to one person and attack another, so thats why we like to get more people on. We have never used tamers in PvP and we are unfortunately going to start soon.
