Siege is calling for you...

My fellow Britannians, with the changes to Shame on the rise, I implore you all answer the call that Siege Perilous is making and come join us for the slug fest this upcoming publish. Dust off that old Siegean character and come show us what you're made of!

We here on Siege have been seeing an increased population for the past few weeks and would like to encourage everyone that hasn't at least tried it out to come do so! Since we only have one facet with Dungeon Shame, we are all looking forward to the new PvP hot-spot and welcome all challengers to share our lonely dungeon.

Remember, we have no insurance or bless deeds here, so the cursed items will not have an effect on us. New characters will have means to obtain decent items without needing imbuing, gold or certain crafting skills!

id love to play on siege but since its an east coast server and im on the west coast the lag is really bad for me..


plus im not allowed to have a house there since i have one on pac.

I'm a carelizard so i won't be there but this puzzles me: i mean, with all the people asking for "risk vs reward", "more pvp", "reds in trammel" and stuff like that, why isn't siege actually full of players? Siege looks to be the perfect shard for that.

Aaron, I have five houses scattered around on Siege and am always happy to co-own or friend decent folks on a couple of them so they have a place to call "home" on Siege. And I know several other people are willing to do the same thing. My most recent guests the last couple of months all fell in love with Siege to the point where they placed their own houses there, so I need a few new people to move in!

how are you at creating? we could always use another crafter! ;p

honestly, i'm not sure why more people aren't here. the rule set is as close as we will get to 'classic uo'.

sure, nobody wants to lose their items, but they have to abandon the mindset that we must have the best items in every slot! (most of the pvpers don't loot each other out of respect anyways)

i'm sure housing is a big issue. nobody wants to give up their house on a established shard for an 18x18 here. hopefully, we will see an addition for small plots available for players to have a small base on siege.

skill gain is the other issue, but i've found gaining skills is almost faster on siege than on regular shards. with the use of alacrities, players can log out after they receive a gain and log back in after the proper amount of time has passed to gain again. it's very easy to bring skills to 100.0 on siege.

whatever it is, i hope people can get past it and come and experience all the great things that make siege an awesome shard.
