She swatted the thought away. She’d sort that out later. What fascinated her was the way the duo reacted. Alira was calm, collected, sated in the moment. Merek was impulsive, heated, and so far past the edge of calculation you sometimes wondered if he thought about consequences at all. Merek was so protective of everything he'd built he skated the line of convention. It worked though, this dance they did. It wasn’t physical, she knew that much. It *was* substantial in it’s own right. But what exactly did that mean? For that matter did either of them know?
Security, stability, and power were the foundation of a partnership etched in Moonglows present.
Winny shook her head behind the girl, continuing her work over the forge as Reagan stood looking out the open space on the side of their armory.
"Will it last?"
"Does anything?"
