Sicarii Quest problem - no spinneret on the first kill

Well, technically I did, but Europa reverted and so I lost it. I had finished the quest up till then the day before, I still have the bloodstained book and all. Even one gossamer that I got, a day before killing Sicarii - which was the day Europa reverted. Since then, no spinneret and no sac thing.

Have the rules changed so that you don't get the spinny on the first drop anymore, or am I just bugged (and can no longer get one)?

It's been that way for a while. I've heard people taking up to 20-30 times to kill her before they got the spinneret. My husbands char took 25 tries. He got a web off her before he got the spinneret. I know my tamer too 4 tries. I guess I was a luckier one.

Yeah Im not getting them either. I did it on my tamer and got it my first try but with my mage and dexxor I cant get them at all. And the problem is, theres never anyone in there to help me kill her and I cant kill her by myself sooo...
