Shouldn't Exorcism be a Chivalry Spell instead of Necro?

My understanding of exorcism is a 'goodly' priest performing an exorcism to banish/release a spirit from the dead...

Necromancers, theoretically, want to attrack spirits/control the dead...

The new use of that spell in Magincia brought that question to mind.

Good point - but if you call the Spirits of the Dead wouldn´t you want to be damn sure you can banish them too?

I would think it could go either way. necromancers have more knowledge of the dead so them being able to exorcise one makes sense.

Necromancer understanding of the undead does make sense for allowing them to banish spirits too.

Should both spell classes have exorcism then? I mean, it certainly does make sense for clergy to have access to the spell also.

If it were available via the Chivalry skill spell set, would that adversely effect the previously main use of ejecting corpseless ghosts from champion areas?

It seems, as is, that more templates should have the exorcism spell available. Then again, I don't PvP. So I can only put the idea out there to the people that do.

if you look up the words necromancy and chivalry, you'll see why necromancy is the better fit for exorcism.

Not only that but I don't know how many people are going to run around with Spirit Speak and Chivalry to see the ghosts in order to exorcise them.
