Should i use 100 skill points on Detect Hidden, if i'm a mage?

I plan on having GM Tracking, i'm just not sure if i should take Detect Hidden too?

Yes if you plan on pvping/pking at all.

If the GM Tracking works for you, why not just use a SCNP Bow with Lightning attack and Cast from Magery/Eval the spell Meteor Swarm...?
Of course you will need Detect Hidden if you have Ninjitsu/Stealth/Hiding.
How else to do that DS...

If you plan to be a murderer, it is not required, as nearly any area effect spell (except wither I think), poison fields, fire fields, conflag potions, and explosion potions will reveal hidden people.

If you're going to be blue, then yes, you will need it.

And remember, Wise Quas will reveal anyone 100% of the time if they are only using the invisibility spell to hide, but those using the hiding skill cannot be revealed with it without detect hidden too.

The benefit of wise quas and detect hidden is that you dont have to wait for detect hidden skill timer to try again, you can try as fast as you can cast.
