Ship in Pristine Condition but Looks a Mess Go Fix it

Anyone else having this problem?

You repair your ship 100%, but it still looks damaged. Sometimes it will not move till you make emergency repairs, but you go to make permanent repairs, and it says it is in pristine condition. Maybe you dry dock and put it back in the water to fix it. Now you can move about but it still looks damaged. Now you go to Bigglesby to get a capture pirate quest, but he says, "Your ship is a mess, go fix it first. Then come back and we can talk about capturing pirates."

It seems that when you are under the emergency repair timer, and you complete permanent repairs, the ship will still sometimes look damaged and move slow until the original emergency repair timer wears off.

Wait 5 to 10 minutes and it should clear up.

It didn't for us, even after hours. Eventually, we had to unload the ship. A GM was able to drydock the boat, but it was deco after that, and we had to buy a new one.

that happen to me lastnight 2 times what we did to fix it sail out found a orc ship let it hit my ship one time with the cannon then it was fix with the first shot

Yes we did the same thing, took our ship out and let a pirate ship attack it. Once hit our ship revertes back to looking like new.

Didn't know about letting the pirate ship hit it. We have the same problem and generally just wait for the emergency repairs to wear off.

i lasted 6 days got a orc ship and haven't played it since

what a wast of time and resources for real wtf it cost more to hunt than what you make omg and dont forget the time in perp for battle and making black powered

was a good thought tho hopefully they fix it ALL

I can see why you would be so upset.

It would put alot of players I know in a snit and flame the Dev in game. I do really understand your plight.
I remind you of the vast amount of work they did to just bring this to us.
Bugs happen, and I for one do know how hard they do try to debug it before we get it. Things do slip in even with lot of testing.
Perhaps it did happen in test but the party who had it forgoet to send in the bug report or didnt think it was needed thinking the next guy would report it. Players do at time think the next guy will report it they dont need to. We are all human. Even the Dev .. Gods that they be... are in fact human. Report it .. All of you. You see the more the bug department reads the trouble you are having it pins down the area.

I have the same problem with ow I have to go to find an orc ship to hit me, but my ship moves sooo slowly..
No excuses with the debug/dev post. They never debug my real life money, or say thanks to me for the hard work I make to earn em. Nor they refund anything for selling a bad product.

Have you tried the context menu to see if you can do repairs, even though it says Pristine?

No you cannot do the repairs. After dry docking and redeploying the ship, it will travel at a normal speed. It will not allow you to use the mouse control to control the ship, but you can still control it by giving commands to the tillerman.

Weird ... so when in doubt, try old commands, hrm. I wonder if when they protected Tram ships this error popped up somehow.
