Ship Going Sideways Across Server Stop

The server line in the Vesper Brit waters stops a Garg ship if the ship is crossing the line sideways. I happened every time. 10 times or so and was true the length of the server line.

You have to move the ship away and cross the server line bow first. That works.

I've noticed similar things with the Tokuno ships, often having to take large detours to get past a server line.

Although, I managed to place a nav point just on the edge of the map, at one point.
Trying to reach the point caused the boat to hop the server line, at which point it had gone past the point, and had to go back to it, causing it to cross the server line again and going back to step one.
All sideways...
