Spring is in thundering onward in Yew! One moment the chill is still quite strong and you can't go outside without a sweater and hat. The next, you are almost in full summer gear and the trees and flowers are producing epic pollen. Early flowers perk up and bloom... then they shy away as it gets cold again. It's a small tug of war that sees us get common little colds so keeping a fire burning well at night and wood piled up and ready.
Without question... the frogs in trees east of the First Church of Candy are completely odd. Anything that can be done to “persuade” them to move along has been fruitless. We’ve set fire to them. We’ve set elementals on them. We’ve tried to attack them with the most powerful of pets. We’ve even tried yelling at them! Nothing has worked... however... they don’t seem to be all that hostel. We sure don’t need them hanging about with the festival tomorrow.
The strangest thing... I noticed today. Just before the little “issue” last month, what saw a small army of cupid attacking the Red & Purple only to be laid to waste by an army of pixie archers... just before the invasion there was a smell in the air of cinnamon. It started to pool up from the earth just inside the mall’s front garden in pink and red sticky little icky puddles. Thankfully we were able to dispel whatever magic it was that cursed our little garden. With this new smell... extremely easy to identify... it's chocolate. With the church being FULL of candy... the discovery of coco seeds? Full production of chocolate goods being possible, we know what that smells like. Without the kitchen even being warm from afternoon tea? The breeze is still carrying cholate. It's very, very odd.
For anyone that hasn’t seen it, you really must stop by and see the Lost Bell of the Skara Brea Abby. It's truly beautiful. We are still trying to figure out it's magical properties, however it seems to have a resident vibration even without being stuck. From days of old, the Abby had a much bigger bell... however it wasn’t made of gold. I remember the day they placed it in the bell tower. The first time it was struck the sound was truly defining. The golden bell sounds very sweet. The tower of the First Church of Candy is loaded with bells. It has been since the day it was constructed... 13 rotations ago. In those days, candy was extremely rare... thus it was truly a miracle when it came to be in our lands. The Abby was constructed just a few seasons after the small Church.

50 Barrels of different Liquors... over 50,000 lbs. in Food...
- Each Barrel gives 10 bottles of whatever liquor within. That’s 5000 bottles! Recycle after passing them to the left.
