Sheep statues

I know you will certainly not change the sheep statues but as they are now they are perfectly useless. They give little wool and a lot of skin. Except that the skins can be taken from many monsters while it is to say to find wool. Why don't you change them and give only wool?

I haven't checked mind since I put it out, but don't they hold 100 like most other things ?

Or you talking about the rate / amount one gets at a time ?

As you can see in my picture, it is a fairly even spread on resources given by the sheep. I gather these two every so often and it is usually this way, with the occasional Lopsidedness. Which resorces that are given is randomized and therefore governed by the Legendary streakiness of UO's Random Number Generator. You may try using a different charcter to gather with.

**EDIT** to your point about the Skins being gathered from many monsters, I would like to point out that I can gather more wool from the sheep in the yew pens in an hour than you'd get from these statues in a year.

I would say the sheep statue resources are used primarily by tailors who utilize all the various skins and wool in their trade.

I hadn't thought about it. Okay, another good way to harvest wool! Now I have flax and real sheep. Thank you!

don't use a crafter when collecting
I get more wool when using my tamer

I love using the auto loom after collecting them

if you go out to the sheep pen to gather wool
make sure to use the gatherer satchel for weight reduction
(satchel is a reward from the huntmaster)

I really appreciate your advice. I have the Gatherer Satchel and more than one. It is an item that I used very often and it is very useful even if I go hunting for skins
