Shard Transfer Tokens [Vet reward ones]

Can you transfer to any shard from them, or just the one that matches the chosen shield?

I.E: Europa shield but is located on Origin = can only go back to Europa.

OK thanks guys, I have the info I need now - just wanted to clarify before I made my 2 choices

I know packys don't transfer, but I assume that everything in your bank box and pet stable goes with that character to the new shard once you transfer. Is this correct?

This is correct. All mounts, packies included, must be stabled. But everything on your character, in your pack and in your bank will go.

If this were true, then logic says you could never get back unless you claimed a new shield on your new shard. Just guessing, but would think that isn't true, that you can take your original home shield with you to return.

So if I want to set up a regular route from Origin to Europa and vice versa, then I would have to claim one of each shield on the opposing shard?

E.G: Claim Europa Shield on Origin and Origin Shield on Europa.

You can choose both shields on just 1 shard if you like and get the tokens. Then transfer and take your returning token with you to the shard you want to return to. IE: I want to go to ATL from Sonoma then return, I claim my Sonoma shield and ATL shield. I get a token from both shields. I use my ATL token making sure my Sonoma token goes with me as well to return there.

OK I think I got it . Same deal as the normal tokens then (you can take them with you) - just have to make sure I take the return journey one with me, or have a shield that gets me back home at the other end.

You take a shield with you, and not a returning token where would you set up the shield to get the token for your return back? Since the its account bound would you have to place a house, and condemn your house on your main account to get back home? my accounts only 12 years sometime b4 I would be able to use these. Iam curious on how this works

NO NO NO! LOL! You take a returning TOKEN with you to get back to your home shard, not the shield itself. You would choose both shields on your home shard, place them in your house and claim a token off both shields. You then transfer to the shard you chose a shield for, making sure to take with you the other TOKEN that will bring you back to your home shard once you are done on the visiting shard.

Oh and dont forget when u leave your home shard you will lose all ''frienship status'' to any old freinds houses you have , and any freinds boxes that u are freinded too with that char you transfer with...just a heads up...as i didnt know that...till i transferred and returned myself...crazy bit of coding but ..thats how its meant to work.

You can take the shields to any shard but can only place and use in an owned or co-owned house

when they say non transferable they mean you cant sell it or give it to anyone else.
you CAN transfer, or better said, transport your shield with you when you shard hop.
course i dont know why youd want to take it with you, as you cant get token out of it unless its locked down in a house.

You can transfer the shields and the tokens as you like. It will only let you x-fer to the shard you have choosen.

I picked my shield on cats (target atl), then other on atl (target drach), - now i got both shields at drachen, and move as I want...just bring with me return token.

Good information in this link, but can someone tell me if you have to wait 24 hours between uses like the regular transfer tokens require?

Yes, the 24 hour timer still applies to shield transfer tokens.

24 hour wait time.

also, if your gonna be like me and use one character to do all the jumping, after you do the first set of trips go into your documents and go into your EA file and you can copy the desktop off your original shard over into the other shards you jump to all the time.
that way when you do your jumps when you log in your desktop will always be the same on every shard.
just makes things a big faster and easier to move around post-jump.

Again please let me warn you all .........if u transfer a char to another shard.....u will lose all friendship/co-owner ship that you had on your home shard with 'that' char....aka....if an old player that left the game 5 years ago but his grandfathered house still stands [bugged]...and you've used that house as a freind for 5 years since [example]....or u use freinds houses that play still and share boxes etc etc [example].....you will lose it all when u transfer that char out...........
just a head up.....
its in the small print when u transfer.......its meant to be like this... when u transfer off shard and return back home its like u never exsisted on that shard as a freind or co-owner.... nice bit of coding not!!
