Shard Transfer Token Question

ok say i want to transfer from Lake Superior to Atlantic and back. Do i claim a shield for LS and Atlantic, transter to atlantic with one token and take the LS token with me to Transfer home??? i want to understand this before i claim the shields!

OK for those of you who have claimed a Shard Shield. Where in the vetern rewards menu does it show up? All the other 15 year rewards are there but not the Shard Shield??

Yup just might want to check on the reward token transfers. They are little limited compared to the bought tokens.


14 year item might be an answer if it is not on your list

You need to claim 2 vet rewards, 2 shard transfer shields.

1, to the place you want to go.

1, for your home shard so you can get back.

They make them 1x a month.

You can only take what's on your guy and what's in the bank. No packies.

For moving, I'd say just use the gamecode ones so you dont waist the picks.

They are located in the House add on's menu, click "next" 2 or 3 times..

They have to be locked down in a house you are co-owner or owner of..

I recommend all get the shields on your home shard (eg: On Pacific, Get a Pacific and Atlantic Shield, place in your house), and carry the tokens with you when yo go to another shard..

The Shard shield tokens are real simple...

I have 8 of them and have used them alot so hear goes the explantation.

Ok you want to go from LS to Atl and return later... very simple.

On the menu for rewards choose each one remmebering to search the next pages as they are on i think the 4th page. In your LS house place both and dont forget to lock them down! Any of your account that picked the shield can use them and yes they can be stored in a chest if you want to just collect rather then leave them on the shield. You get 1 a month from each shield you pick.

Sence they are account bound, any of your characters may use it. The traveling avatar you choose can take his pets with him/her they will all need to be stabled - no you may not use packies.
As for item count, if your account is basic and you have not purchased any aditional bank space your limited to 125 items in bank and 125 on your person (this must include the tokens your to use). Dont forget you can wear and carry in hand all the clothing/armor you can fit on your traveler.
Oh and by the way keep track of item weight as with all transfer tokens you can only go if your under your weight limit.

Your all set to go! Now I must warn you there is a small waiting period of 24 hours between using of tokens by that character/account. Meaning that once you go to Atlantic you can not use the return token on that character or account for 24 hours.

I have found this reward to be the best gift UO has given us old players.... I can now travel to all my homes and shards with any of my avatars, the use is endless as I have quickly found out.

P.S. Dont forget like the full transfer once you go when you return you agian must refriend to homes( not owned by that account) and get reguilded.etc... as it wipes all conections to the shard when you leave. So choose carefully who you send.

I have used three of mine, and I've been able to get about 300 items back to my home shard from three different shards. I got tons of turn in points for all the junk I brought back...

I had 14 Heritage Tokens on other shards I never used, but had claimed...Oh Man!! I just wish I had done a LOT more of THAT activity!!

So...I concur that this wonderful Vet Reward. It Kicks Butt!!
