Shard Shields, bad design

Well what happens if we leave a shard and intend to play another? I am just stuck with shard shields on a shard I do not play? There needs to be a way that if you use a normal character xfer to move to a shard you should be able to rechoose the shield!!! Anyone else having this issue?

I think you should play the shard which is your Home Shard. No matter that you transfer around all the time. I walk most of Sosaria on a daily basis both Fel and Tram. That being said. I only expect to live and be rewarded on my "home Shard" That is where I live and engage the game on a one on one level. Everything else is above and beyond that. I have no problem with the town banners being tied to where I live

I think they are fine the way they are. They are meant to be a bonus, not replace transfer tokens.
(An' yes, I own more than one myself.)
