Ah I see now. LS is functionally similar to AI, that is how I was able to do x3 dmg.
Interesting.
So let me know if I have this right:
Base Melee Damage = Base Weapon Damage + Base Weapon Damage x [(Tactics/1.6+6.25*)% + (Anatomy/2+5*)% + (Lumberjacking/5+10*)%** + (Strengthx0.3+5*)% + DI***]
*Bonus for 100 or greater
**If using an axe
*** DI refers to the magic item property Damage Increase and is capped at 100%
Maximum Damage = Base Melee Damage x 3
Final Damage = [Base Melee Damage + Base Melee Damage x (EoO + (Super)Slayer + perfection + others)****] x [(1-Target Resist(s))] + Direct Damage
****The sum of damage modifiers (i.e. EoO, slayer, perfection, etc) <= 200%
Damage modifiers:
EoO = 82% max; Super Slayer = 100%; Single Slayer = 200%; perfection = 100% max; other=CW, stone form, etc.
Armor Ignore sets Target Resist to 0
Lightning Strike critical hits are Direct Damage?
Therefore Damage Increase, the magic item property, is absolutely critical.
edit2: removed penalties from equation
