I read in many place about this necromancer familiar, some says that it add 1 to mana regeneration, others says that heal mana of the necromancer and friends with negative karma.
But how does it works? I ask because I want to make a scribe and I'd like to know if is usefull or not :)

It periodically heals mana of nearby friendlies (including the caster) who have negative karma.

thanks for the info, but how much mana can heal this nice beast?
is based on the karma?

I was once told it was old party members.
Although, I'm entirely not certain... When I was training one skill or another, the wisp didn't seem to make that big a difference to me always being out of mana :(

Not sure about the actual numbers but as I understand it the more "evil" you are the more you benefit from the wisp's presence.

PLEASE dont waste an FOF question on this...

Shadow Wisp
Requires 50 Necromancy and 50 Spirit Speak.
Abilities: negative energy flare; periodically heals the mana of those friendly to the caster (and the caster) IF they have negative karma. The more negative the karma, the more mana you get back.
-From Stratics-

Yeah, and if you want numbers...at maximum negative karma with GM SS, a wisp gives you approx 15 mana, i dont know about 120 ive never gone that high...They also seem like they "heal" your mana whenever they feel like it, its efinately not every 5 seconds or 10 seconds, but imtermitently...ive had them heal mana twice very rapidly, and then heal approx 30 seconds apart, pretty stupid sometimes...

And as for parties...
In fel, you have to be partied it seems, in Tram, summon a wisp and sit at a populated Bank, youll see the wisp heal the neg karma players around you

If you use wisps be careful, and don't fight in guard zone. If you attack someone, or someone attacks you when you are grey/red. All they have to do is attack, and keep you flagged past the 2 minute initial aggression window.

After that your wisp (or any pet) is no longer flagged and you can be guardwhacked or given a murder account (or both).

Wisps will randomly hit your opponent, therefore you flag and get guardwhacked (if you are fighting a blue).
