Shadow vs. Holy

I've always been a shadow priest. For some reason I just hate healing in an instance. I guess I take it personally when someone dies and I'm healing.

Anyhow, my question is....is it still difficult to solo level as a Holy Priest?

I know it's VERY easy as a Shadow priest. I'm always amazed that my Shadow priest can kill way more effectively than my pally.

The first thing I think of with a Shadow Priest is the cool looking black aura they get. Man, that would be sweet. I have no experience with a Priest. However, my wife and I adventure together so she has, in one of our groups, a 68 Priest. All Holy. Man not only can she pop off a great heal, she can do some damage if she watches her mana just right.

She has always been Holy so I have no experience with hunting with a Shadow Priest. She seems to have a knack for keeping our partys health up, in an instance or just the two of us. But your right, if you don't like to heal others, Holy would be a pain.

But that was 2 years ago and only up to about lvl 25.
