Well I found out that Greater Dragons REALLY HIT HARD.... hehe

But it I cast 2 Blade Spirits, I will not die as quckly, I only last as long as it takes for the Greater Dragon to dispell them, hehe

Oh well, as they say, learning is half the fun. I think that is what they say.

Good morning all!

You'll get the hang of the dragons Caesar. The trick with an archer is to stay right at the 10 tile range, then when you hear it roar, step back to the 11th tile so you can avoid the fire breath. You know what dragons say about archers providing them with handy toothpicks....

One important thing to remember is that if you can knock the health of the Greater Dragon down to half and under, their firebreath becomes less and less an issue.

They always hit real hard if you get next to them...so if you do not have magic resist, be certain to carry a trapped box to avoid having to stand there paralyzed, while the GD sidles up to take a swipe.

Also, be sure to carry a Slayer Spell book. Dragons are very weak to Cold Damage, so Mind Blasts can be very effective, especially when the damage gets doubled, because of the Slayer property. You can cast the spell, and listen for that roar, that indicates Fire Breath is on the way...you need to be outside the range before the roar. AS soon as you hear it, and see the animation for the dragon blowing it's breath, run into range for some shots, and then try to get outside the range, before the Roar, again.You will figure out the timing for this, I'm sure.

They are definitely a challenge, but most assuredly defeat able!! Just be sure to always keep a cleared area for retreat behind you, and not to get too many on you at once!!
