Serpentine Dragon

Anyone done anything interesting/successful with on of these? I thought i might try out a spellweaving version of one and see how it fairs compared to my reptalon with spellweaving. The serpentine drags have crazy high starting int so im thinking a purely caster/supportive type build is the way to go on them.

I tried a SW one when it first started. Could not wait to get one. Leveled it up but did not scroll it because I wanted to see what it was like... was disappointed. So much so that I actually wound up just killing it instead of wasting the stable spot.

I have a Magery Mastery Serpentine Dragon with 1,039 INT/1,500 Mana/30 MR/120 Magery/120 Eval. He still does less damage than a Chiv+AI pet, despite being the most powerful spellcaster a pet can be. His Mind Blasts do hit pretty hard though. There's a few bugs with Magery Mastery that really hamstring them too. They cast Bless on their opponent rather than themself. They cast Magic Reflection, which oftentimes means they end up taking more incoming damage. Death Ray is a total waste on them, since it replaces their melee, does less damage than their melee, and is easily interrupted before it can even tick, just sucking down Mana.

Unfortunatly, int does not scale the same for SDI as str does for DI.

So many pets are broken.
