This post may be biased since I hate Flappys and these are wingless Flappys.

I just saw this.

They are pretty easy since they have 150 Stamina and over cap on dex and Intel.

Basically you set the resists how you want them.
Set the Regens how you want them
Max the Str.
Choose AI so it will damage things. It has dragon breath so it can only get 1 thing and a magic.
Pick magery mastery so it will hop on ships.

Let it hop onto a ship and sail away and bank sit somewhere until it goes poof.
or put it in your stable and never bring it out.

Then go tame a 2 slot new color Nightmare and make it your magery pet.

Phoenix is different and you can get a high end 3 slot that will max out everything and still have points left.

Also it has nothing but magery so you can add 2 things.
