They are attacking me (in tram moonglow and new moonglow..)

I am wearing the cloak, if that makes a difference. And yes they are DAMAGING me (edit: some did, the first ones; but later random pets were not damaging me).

The two guys in tram moonglow got guard wacked for something they didn't even do (their dragons tried to get me..
)

I am on Cats if that makes a difference.

okay.. figured this out.. Animals (event tamed) will attack people wearing the cloak. The owners can get guard wacked in in a G-zone...

I DOUBT this is intended.

and it will get fixed

Edit: i'm sure they try or would like to but they cant read every post, you have to draw some attention to it.

im not wearing the cloak and not only do i have to watch out for the spawn...............but dragons are hitting me as well way over 500 death already and im almost out of ...... gold!

yeah, my bake attacked a guildmate that was wearing that cloak. He said random strangers have had their pets attack him too.

very odd. I got the cloak last night and went running around with it on, to luna and all around the spawn. I did not get attacked by ANY animals at all. However a dead animal did start following me around at one point for some reason. I am on sonoma btw.

It's not a bug...it's the cloak.....take it OFF!!!!!! Don't let yourself be corrupted! OMG Don't you get it???? You want insane bonuses?? You want endless mana???? Then reap the side effects........

But people NOT wearing the cloak and getting guardwhacked IS a bug I bet. Otherwise it will be exploited bad.

So some other person chooses to have insane bonuses and reap the side effects and I get guard whacked? How is that NOT a bug? If that is the intended side efect..consider my tamer retired.

I gave a cloak away at our guild meeting tonight, the guy who won it put it on and all the pets who were parked outside, came running into the guild house to kill him. It was rather funny, he got the cloak off in time.

I would have loved a video of that.

Imagine sitting at the bank in fel (some of us do bank in fel) dropping off some gold with my dragon next to me. 2 people run up. 1 has a cloak on and my dragon attacks him. I get guardwhacked for it. The other is not a criminal so his friend rezzes him right up and they proceed to laugh and loot the criminals body.
You know the criminal who did nothing but have a pet? This could be a very serious issue. Yew gate?

There are some people who would do it in Luna just to get a laugh. There are a lot of people who seem to get pleasure from getting people killed and then laughing at the newb because they didn't know about the exploit/bug or didn't somehow defend against it.
*remembers the reflect physical damage bug*

A word about getting this fixed or if this is indeed the intended effect would be nice.

I wonder if the guy who was scamming people with a blaze cu trade, had the cu bonded... It'd be a real shame if he fell foul of this bug *coughs*

If someone has a cloak on his shard, please do try this hehe.

Would sure give some of the Yew gate tamers a new thing to get upset about.

Otherwise I guess we just need to avoid banksitting with pets and clear off if we see a char in the cloak of corruption.

This actually sounds GOOD. Seriously. It's like you're ASKING for trouble if you put the cloak on. I really like the idea. It's thinking out of the box. I'm not being sacrastic (this time).
How cool would it be to put on your best gear and then the cloak. Run thru a town and get aggro from the pets. It sounds fun!
It is afterall..... corruption. muhaaaahaaa

The issue isn't really that animals attack you while wearing the cloak (well I guess it might be for some) but that is an ok side effect. The real issue though is with other peoples pets attacking someone wearing the cloak n tram and then the pets owner getting guard whacked for it.

I see. Guard wack is not nice. Pet owners shouldn't have to get penalized/lose insurance.
But I still would love seeing Corupt players running around getting aggro/chased down by something... maybe guards chasing them, but not one shot kill.
It would spice things up. Let's run with it, but correctly.

The guy who was doing that was Napa Valley's "King of Dupers". I lored his Blaze Cu Sidhe in Fel and it's Stats/Resists EXACTLY matched the Stats/Resists that were recorded on the Blaze Cu Sidhe being used in the scams. I do have a couple Cloaks of Corruption, but never see him use the Blaze Cu Sidhe anymore, he turned his Red Tamer char into a Stealth Tamer and was using Petball+Great Wyrm not too long ago, guess he's probably changing templates again now that they nerfed that.

Yeah, figured it was the same guy we had messing around with the cu before... That was why he sprung to mind as a good victim hehehe


Maybe lying low in the hope that folks forget who he was so he can try scamming again.
