Hello everyone!
I would like to take a minute to remind everyone that September is Leukemia and Child Cancer Awareness Month in the United States.
This is a month that is very important to me and my family for a couple reasons. It was this month last year that my now 3 and a half year old was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. A year later she is still battling the cancer.
I also participate in various events to help raise money for Leukemia Research and to help families in need during the financial hardships that the medical costs bring.
This fall I am participating in the Leukemia And Lymphoma Societies Light The Night Walk 2010 in Wyandotte Michigan.
To help in the cause you can visit the LLS HERE. But most importantly spread the word about the need to find a cure for childhood cancers.
Thank You
