save yourself some time and release it...
There's a difference between a Dark Steed and a faction dismounted guard horse. Dark Steed's don't spawn anymore, and since publish 55 you can't obtain the "black horses". Unfortunately, they both are only two words, and can be renamed soooo, yeah. That made no sense, go me. If it's a black horse, don't call it a dark steed, yeah that's my point. There we go.
You can also buy them @ the WBB for around a million from the horse man. :/
