Selling Castle!

Now that Clean Up Britainnia has arrived its time to sell my castle. Here are some details of its location (hopefully the pictures work).

As you can see its a quiet area. You get the odd Dark Wisp but quieter than the Trinsic swamps

The castle comes empty, so it won't be available for any viewings inside.

I'm going to start the bidding low, as I know I probably won't get what I paid for it, at 5 million gold.

EDIT: Please keep bid increments to 250k min.

The auction will end on Sunday at 9pm GMT (i'll be posting reminders in this thread before that the end).

Good luck with the sale. I hope someone nice gets in there as Im sitting on the other side of the keep. It is a great area, not to much spawn. Trees nearby for cutting and water for sailing. Not to far from mountains for mining.

But castle spots aren't. And if you find somewhere that looks big enough they're a pain to place.

I don't expect to get what I paid for it, never said that, but I'm not going lower than 5 million for a starting bid.

This is a unique deal. You consider that 1 mill gold is worth 10k points then your offer is presumably 50 mill gold which would be way overpaying for a castle. Especially in its location.

If you consider the points to be worth less then that then my new bid is 6 mill.

Thanks for the offer of points but I already have 870k. Plus there isn't a huge amount on the reward list that I want right now lol. bit unimpressed with the list but thats another story

I had noticed that the mage suits sold for over 5 million after last turn in.

an offer at 8:59:59 is still valid - 9:00 is the end time - therefore invalid as the auction ended already

Frankly I'm getting a headache.

Anyway, I've decided what to do. Afterglow will get the castle but I have decided to give TheDrAJ the value of his bid.

So basically I will be giving all the gold I've made away.

In the situation this seems the fairest thing to do. No one would have been happy either way but in the circumstances it seems right.

This is partly my error so I hope the gold will be some compensation to TheDrAJ and will go to something good.

Symma I had put up some incorrect information on how auctions properly end. After I realized my mistake I deleted the info and replaced it with what you see now.

I resolved the situation in the way I felt happy with and I'd do it again. Just the way I am.
