I want to sell my "Lake Austin" account but don't have any clue how to do it or what to do. You can't do it on E-bay anymore or I would do it there. Are there any good brokers still out there that does this? Would anyone even want my stupid account (since Oct 2002)? And am i breaking any stratics rules posting this question? Or should i go to the LA trade forum and do it there?

Im pretty sure you can post it here np.

Make a list of each char, there stat cap, and skill caps, and current skills.
Anything of high value that will add to the price, like ethys or whatever.
Account age to the month.
Umm, If your real good could even make a pic of each char for added droolability for the perspective buyer. I love seeing what other peoples accounts look like.

Ok ya I will do this when I get time but it still didn't answer my question of how to go about ways to sell it... should i post my chars in here or do it in trade or both?? Have any of you guys sold accounts before and have any suggestions? My friend used to sell accounts all the time. But back then I think he used E-bay. What's a good round a bout price for an almost 5 yr account?

You should post your character stats and pics and a list of valuables that belong to the account here on stratics and ask for offer. The value of the account really depends on what's on it, as much as how old it is. Az's advice was a perfect answer to your question because that's the very first step. No one is going to be interested in buying an account they know nothing about. Once you post the details of your account here on stratics, you can discuss the particulars of account transfer with the buyer. If it's someone you trust or someone who's willing to trust you, you might not need a broker. Or you can discuss, with that person, someone you both trust who could broker the deal.
