Forgive my ignorance. But. Why are nightmares all of the sudden so expensive now?

Cus they are now 3 slot pets so the old two slot ones are worth more because they get a extra round of training I believe

2 slot ones can spawn now. The difference is, the "pre-patch" 2 slot ones have str in the 500 range. The current 2 slot one will max out around 300-310ish. If a current untamed Mare has 500 str. it will spawn as a 3 slot.

The difference in the 200ish strength (and still being a 2 slot) translates into 600ish TRAINING points. Or roughly and EXTRA 40% of a whole round's worth of points.

FYI, given the recent "bugs/exploits" on pets, when purchasing one, ALWAYS be careful to VERIFY that said pet IS a pre-patch one, and not just one that was "changed" into a 2 slot. Because when the publish goes live they WILL revert.
