No offense but that's sketchy as ****.
This is why I hate auctions. It's too easy to bid your own stuff up or have a friend bid it up for you or claim they bought something at a high rate that didn't fetch what you wanted for it simply so it can be re-sold later hopefully for more.

Not saying that this is what is going on here... Just that it's sketchy as ****.

Um, fairly confident @Captn Norrington has been amazingly responsive to cleaning up auctions and threads. So to justify him not wanting to get "haggled" is a bit absurd.

As far as my track record I don't muck up auctions unless I see shady business, and tbh I was going to post something similar to PK but rather just decided to stick to my motto and not do business with people that conduct auctions and/or other transactions with; "private offers over icq while remaining completely anonymous and not providing any sort of proof".

Although It is definitely the mystery bidders right to stay anonymous, like Old Vet said I will always do my best to make sure nobody is hassled due to them bidding on these forums. If the mystery bidder doesn't want their name shared yet only because they do not want others to harass them, I guarantee I will prevent any harassment to best of my ability. The community may not be perfect, but they really are a great group of people most of the time.
