I don't know if these have already been brought up, but I thought I should make them known here... just in case I'm an odd ball in this respect.

I can't stack seeds from separate plants. Meaning a blue bulrush seed that was already in the bag doesn't want to stack with the seeds I just took off a blue bulrush, for example.

The other thing I noticed is that my seeds from a new set of plants don't designate bright properties to any of the seeds. They're colored bright, but the only say the color. Like purple century seed for what should be a bright purple century seed.

There seems to be a lot of glitches with this new implementation, any projection on how long until they're resolved? Or is it just a waiting game? Thought I'd ask. :D

Ok.. seems like the seed stacking is only relevant to seeds from before the update. I was just able to stack 16 seeds..

the seeds not naming as bright has been going on for a couple of publishes now - if you ID them with poppie dust, they get the bright name back (ID a whole stack at once to save on poppie dust).

There is a workaround, somewhat tedious but worth it, for seeds that were obtained pre-publish. Plant them in a bowl of dirt, then empty the bowl. This essentially makes the seed new and they'll stack with the others then.

Hope that helps :)

I've still got a couple of stacks of IDed seeds that just plain won't stack. They're identical, they're in stacks themselves... but I can't combine two identical stacks. It's frustrating enough that I had to drop two stacks of seeds that simply wouldn't stack with anything else... I don't want to take up three slots for something that should only take up one. I've IDed, I've moved them around-- they just plain won't stack!

I don't think it's strictly a pre-patch vs. post-patch thing. I harvested a large number of seeds from plants just a couple of days ago (all of which were started growing after SA came out), and none of the seeds stacked, even seeds from the same plant.

They will stack if you bag them or carefully place like seeds on top of each other. UOA Organizer agent is your friend here.

If you have two stacks of like seeds that won't stack, you may have to burn Poppy Dust identifying both stacks, then they will stack.

Good to know, but shouldn't they stack automatically when you harvest them? That would seem to be sensible behavior.

Yeah I think there is probably some bugginess with stacking. I replanted a huge bunch of colored bonsai trees last weekend and ended up with way more stacks than I'm sure I should have. A friend was telling me she was having trouble getting some freshly pulled seeds to stack.

I'm kinda leaning towards the thought that they randomly get bugged? (but not too often)

Yes, that would be nice if they did that. The ones you take out of bowls will auto-stack. Maybe in some future publish they could fix it so the ones off plants auto-stack as well.

Bright seeds still are not named correctly. Is this a known bug?

I just logged in to Origin (upon which I got the server going down msg) and was pulling seeds from a dark blue flowering cactus and a bright orange snowdrops. I received 5 cactus seeds, 5 snowdrops seeds and four seeds of renewal??? I moved the seeds and plants to an empty bag because my main is cluttered.

On the other hand the seeds did stack in my pack directly off of the plants and bonsai plants still don't clip. Cypress trees DO clip into reeds and clippings.

I don't know for certain. Something new with SA? I thought there were non-gardening related though, so I was quite surprised when they popped in my backpack.

Seeds of Renewal are one of the new loot drops from ratmen in the Cavern of the Discarded. It's a nice perk for a gardener to get them without risking life and limb. They are used in for adding mana, hitpoint, and stamina regen while imbuing.

I received 12 Seeds of Renewal when i harvested my seeds from my green snake plants and my orange pampass grass plants. They are used in imbuing to add :

Hit Point Regeneration: Essence, Tourmaline and Seed of Renewal
Mana Regeneration: Essence, Sapphire and Seed of Renewal
Stamina Regeneration: Essence, Diamond and Seed of Renewal

Or they can be found in a mini champ spawn: Cavern of the Discarded

Well isn't that handy! I'm not imbuing, but I'll keep a stock of them just in case I ever need them.

I just pulled seeds from a large group of plants this morning, and ended up with 7 Seeds of Renewal. I didn't pay any attention until afterwords, so I have no idea if they came off of one plant, or one came from each of several. Most of the plants I had were the flowering cactus, colored spider trees, and hops, if that info helps at all. Oh, and they were red, yellow, and orange.

I pulled seeds off plain 10 tri-barrel cactus plants this morning and received 3 seeds of renewal, but... here's the weird part. I crossed all of these plants with another tri-barrel cactus and I did not receive any tri-barrel cactus seeds. I received seeds of the following types: cactus, barrel cactus, water plant, rushes, small palm, ponytail palm, elephant ear, and lilies.

Seeds from very old patches still wont stack, I mean after Identifying them all. I got a basket of lots of white and black seeds from some years back IDOC and after IDing them all, those that were the same kinds still dont stack or rather none of them stacked :( .. just putting this out there...

You have to do the plant and recover method for old seeds right now. No way around it if you want them to stack.
