So first I find an open spot in Malas to place my 14x11 3-story plot.

While standing under the house sign, and also on the house steps, I announce that I wished to resize my plot. A window appeared telling me information about what I was about to do. I agree and click okay. The 14x11 plot I just placed disappears.

Then I log into the other acct (in 2d) and try to place a plot in the same spot as my other account. I am not able to place because I just created a new character on TC1. Why is this? It is only a test center...

I suppose I will try again later? Must I really wait 15 days??

Housing stuff aside, I think the avatars in KR look horrible, but I like the scenery very much.

Did you walk through the house placement gate at brit bank?

Is it just me, or do the female avatars look innocent and optimistic in 2D, but rather like an "escort for hire" in KR?

Thanks. That was the problem. Now I come back to the spot to place with the 2nd account and have no problem doing so. I thought the protected zone should last for a while? It has been over 1 hour since I resized the 1st plot.

Also, I notice someone else has placed just west of where my original plot was. Hmmm.

Now I will attempt to resize this one.

Ok here is what I found out. The protective zone extends to 1 tile west and east of your plot. It also extends 5 tiles north and south of your plot. I received the message "This area is temporarily unavailable for house placement" each time I tried to place anything in the protective zone. The bandies on the ground represent the west edge of the protective zone.

This pic shows that if 5 hours had passed, I could have placed two tiles west of the 2nd plot.

Nice of you to keep updating with screenies, but please promise me no more shots in KR.

Could you try placing two neighboring plots on one account and then attempting to resize both into one larger plot?

The resize option demolishes your plot so this situation could not occur. Having two houses at once can only be achieved through placing and thus condemning your old plot? I am only guessing here, perhaps someone else could respond.

To those who do not care for the KR Paperdolls, I have to respectfully disagree. Here is a pic showing KR next to 2d. I think 2d is laughable and KR is adequate. KR could be better, but is far better than 2d. IMO. I think the KR female in this pic is a hottie. I think the 2d female is kinda Tom-boyish.

There is allready a loophole in the resizing "feature".

Lets see if it gets fixed :)

Oh its THAT kind of loophole? I thought it was something discussable.

To do the comparison proper you need to show both clients with the same character in 2d/3d. What do both those people look like in 2D/3D?

Cheers ...

I gotta agree with DV. Yeah, the KR looks all nice and pink and stuff, then you show a 2D model in a drab brown robe? Heh, either way, Im not a KR fan, sorry :(

As for the housing thing, much like the rest of this publish, seems its going to need a bit of work to get right. Lemme see if I got this right, so long as there is space around you, you can basically enlarge the floor plan of your house, without ripping it down and suffering the placement time penalty?

east of west brit bank
Theres a row of different colored moongates
a blueish one for Pet bonding
a golden one for Spell weaving
a kinda green one for ...

allow house placement

guess which one you need to "walk through" ...

(pssst! good to see that the "need to be 15days old" ... is working ... at least on test)

Yes, they do look like hotties - that was part of my problem.

It works well for 1 of my female characters (named for a busty, barely-clothed psychic vampire) - but the other one, the one I play the most (of the females - I have 18 characters total, and as a guy play the guys most often), looks somewhere between Hollywood madam and strip club queen (and one can't move the loincloth to see which KIND of queen).

Problem is, she's named for a teenage anime character (see the pic in my sig).

Granted, the problem goes the other way for the other female character (she only looks right in KR). But I play that one maybe 5 hours a year, compared to 10-15 hours a week for Mylene.

When they redesigned the paperdools in KR, they started with a way too manly female (about to the point of a guy in drag), then took it too far in the overly sexy direction, on redesign. If only the body sculptor actually did bodies, not just faces...

Thats fair enough. I will keep an eye out for Pixie Stix so I can get a 2d shot for proper comparison. Did you all know that you can choose vampire, undead, tatooed and other faces in KR now? Really cool for people looking for an authentic look.
