How do you take a screen shot in game? Is there a function for that in EC o r CC?

The answer for EC : I just looked it up is PRTSCRN, very nice! For CC it is different prtscrn, then copy to a file, a few more steps.

I use screen snip tool from windows; I don't run CC in "full screen" because it doesn't allow for you to setup hot keys in the black "empty space"...so the screensnip tool is easy enough to use.

That works great. The screen freezes and you can draw a rectangle and copy the contents.

In windows 10 it's just for screen shots. In 11 it can do a video if set that way.

Snipping tool and win key/shift/s are the same thing. I prefer to have the snipping tool icon set to my taskbar so it's accessible at any time.

If you're using Windows 11, hit "Prnt Screen", select the area you want a picture of. Now the image can be found in the Windows Snipping directory, or alternatively if you wish to modify the screenshot in some way, you can paste the image you just captured with Prnt Screen in MS Paint.
