Scalis and Ter Mur

120 Fishing and tossed 15 fabled nets on the pier in the fishing village in Ter Mur. Not a single Scalis popped.

It could be notoriously bad luck, but has anyone ever successfully summoned Scalis recently in Ter Mur? Also, I did not notice any gargish loot on anything that was killed, which does not seem right as monsters in Ter Mur should be dropping gargish loot.

For Scalis to pop I believe the net has to be tossed into deep water. I would check to see if there is deep water in the area. They may have just enabled regular net spawn for Ter Mur (if there is a lack of deep water) and basically copied loot table from trammel possibly. I was getting Gargish Armor off of t maps there earlier.

There's one pier in the fishing village that's just far enough to be in deep water as you cannot place boats in Ter Mur water. The nets only work in deep water and leviathan was summoned without any issues. It could possibly be really bad luck, but just wanted to check for sure if anyone else had success summoning Scalis in Ter Mur or if it's a bug so nobody potentially wastes their nets. The loot tables looked to be the same as trammel as mentioned, which is unfortunate as it would have been a great opportunity to get gargish items by switching facets.

normally it wont let u throw white nets unless its deep water. ive done 13 in a row with no scalis, u have broke my record.

If you have more nets, copy them over to TC and use them there. That way you can test it as many times as you want without using them up on your shard.

Unfortunately I don't have anymore nets but if there was a way to get fabled nets on TC I would love to test that out to see if it's possibly a bug with summoning Scalis in Ter Mur.

I've seen 10+ nets be thrown without a Scalis in Buc's Den and New Mag. I've also seen him pop 5 out of 6 tosses. Luck of the draw would be my guess. If you are only having this issue in Ter Mur though... might want to stop potentially throwing away nets there.
