Sampire with multiple lesser hiryus

Hi all,

has anyone used bonded and untrained 1/2 slot lessers for PVM?

I know it wouldn’t be feasible all the time. I’m looking for a way to help do my champ spawns solo and 5 meat shields seem like a way to help stay alive.

Or does it make more sense for a sampire to have 2 slot lessers?
2 two slot and 1 one slot?

Do you mean natural 2 slot ones? They seem rare to me, never seen one in the wild. But, they don't start much better than the 1 slot ones.

They don't have pack instinct. They die pretty fast for a shield and you cant res them. I have seen players use 2 pets before. But I have never seen them tank anything difficult with them.

Make a Vollem and put battle defense on it to fight with your sampire. Still have room for a mount.

The best use for a Lesser Hiryu with a Sampire, is to debuff Physical Resist with Grasping Claw, and stack that with Onslaught from a 100% Physical wep.
I've used 1 slot Lesser Hiryus to debuff the Physical Resist of Andros in Despise before, so that the minions deal more damage.

My sword slinger 'dragoon' warrior rode an old 3-slot (skill) trained lesser hiryu during the recently finished invasions - one which is at 106.4 wrestling - so that officers who dismounted me, got a nice surprise ;-)

You can bring 1 slot pets into Despise. Newer Lesser Hiryus spawn as 1 slot. The Lesser Hiryu itself won't be able to deliver damage to Andros, but it can still apply Grasping Claw to him, allowing any of the Physical Damage minions to deal more damage to Andros.
