Sampire weapons

Is there anything besides a soul seeker in terms of an arti weapon in the game? been looking around for something but cant seem to locate anything.

For a sampy, you really wanna go with crafted weapons. Not aware of any other real popular sampy arties, aside from soul seeker.

For spawns i use the blaze of death. It has that area attack and hit fireball, so when you use whirlwind the hit area attack can go off something like 6 times lol. It is great for low to med level spawns. After that i use soul seeker.

but for peerless bosses, doom, and other high end monsters the ornate axe and leaf blade are my weapons of choice, although some like diamond maces.

Lynk is bang on Katrina's Crook is a good weapon for sampire. That and soul seeker are the two best arties for sampires Wizax suggestion of blaze is a good one also but it lacks the mana leech you would want and is better for a wammy which can ww non stop with it though if you make sure to honor things your about to kill you will be ok with blaze of death. Best spawn weapon i would say is a radiant scimitar crafted with hit area 40+% with mana leech stamina leech and spell channeling now thats a Sexy spawner blade!! Make yourself a smith and save up some runic hammers to burn on weapons is my best advice for any player who wants to do sampire though sa almost here so imbueing will be a good way to make your dream weapons.

I forgot to mention katrina`s crook.... its defiantly a good wep for a macer sampire, a little slow, but good. As far as the blaze of death goes, i would not use it for anything but spawns because it has no leeches. It is more or less just for blazing a trail through the low level spawns (no pun intended).
It is also very cheap too, hehe. Like wild wobble said, a radiant scimitar with those mods would be great... i believe supsoc had one like that at one time lol. There really are no good one on one artifact wep for a sampire...though the closest would be the soul seeker (it is possible to solo some high end monsters with it but there are better weps to do that with). When i started my first sampire i used the soul seeker for a long time lol.

Just to clarify, a Sampire weapon is one that has SSI, HSL, and HML as the base required mods. While Wind's Edge is certainly usable by a Sampire, it is not considered to be a Sampire weapon by definition.

But with Wind's Edge, SSI really isn't needed.

With a swing speed of 2, 50% SSI and feint special, you almost always swing at the 1.25 sec.

A few other questions regarding sampires, I have followed pretty much the armor requirements ive read in previous threads...

Mace and shield
RBC
Fey and bane leggins (swap between two)
Gauntlets of nobility
Snakeskin boots
Jackals
Midnight bracers

the two rings i wear are both just necro rings +15 and +14 which i need for the necro

Parry 120 real
Swords 120 real
tactics 108 real
Anat 100 real
Bush 119.3 real
Chiv 70.5 real
Necro 52.6 (99.6 with rings and bracers)

But i srill find I cant make it into second, third stage of a chanmp without dying, especially when the spawns starts casting at me, i find it hard to target enough spawn to keep up with healing.

Also any tips on when you do die to get stuff back from the middle of a heavy spawn? I keep losing my regs.

I'm curious about Pacify as a decent Sampire weapon.

I'm guessing its impressive 100% HML and useful 10% HCI isn't enough to compensate for its slow speed (even with its 20% SSI), given it is a 3s swing weapon.

I can't answer Dodger's questions unless you don't use evasion liberally or don't have max DCI.

As for Pacify, since replicas aren't PoF-able, I wouldn't use it. Weapon durability goes down way too quickly to waste time or gold on something which won't last forever. *insert back-handed comment on the state of the game today here*

I got Pacify in my first Champ spawn after the artifacts were introduced... I suppose i put some time into it, but no money (except a few k in insurance money ).

So other than the cost and the fact it won't last forever, is it a worthy sampire weapon, even though it is slow and has no HSL?

Honor yourself, and also carry a pair of arcane boots so you can recast Vamp form without the need for regs.

Well for one, get your necro up so you can get more mods and resists on your ring, bracelet, and sleeves.

Also, if you're talking about the undead spawn, the second & third levels of that one eat my sampire too. It's all those bone mages casting blood oath -- one ill-considered whirlwind and you can go from full to nothing faster than you can say ooOOooooOOo.

you can try using the halloween grimoire trinket thinger it has a undead slayer property among other things.
