For the sheer ease of it, figure out a way to hit 100 necromancy for vampire form.
While you can kill Dread Horn and Paroxy without vamp form, adding the form makes it 100% easier.
Then all you really need is all 70's resist (after vamp form) and 45% DCI. Everything on top of that just makes life easier.
The first suit I killed the Dread Horn alone in gave me all 70's resists and 30% DCI and 10 strength.
The only artifact that I'd consider "required" is the mace and shield glasses, but if you have a weapon with hit lower defense as well as swing speed increase, mana leech and stamina leech, then even that is optional.
With healing instead of necromancy, you can do all of those with a partner very easily, but alone, it involves a lot of running away for healing.
