Sampire Q

Hi all,

I've decide to come back to uo for about the 20th time, and i've noticed that all sampire builds now have 100 necro... When I used to play I only had about 40 necro, increased it to 99 with items, cast vampiric embrace then swapped my +necro gear for my fighting gear. Are you no longer able to do this?

You have to have 99 or more necromancy at all times to stay in vampire form. Sucks, but eh, it's still viable.

That was a change to the vampire form late last year.

You might consider playing a Wammy instead, which doesn't require as much necro skill. It's a bit of a different template, armor and weapons, but many people do well with that. Something to consider even while working necro skill up to cast vampire embrace.

Really, your best option is to have one of each, with soulstones to change which weapon skill you want to use, and swap healing and parry (vampire) or parry and anatomy (wraith).
